Pea Halwa is a bright green color dessert enriched with milk and dry fruits. It’s very easy to make and it’s super yummy. Do try – it is yummy.
Matar Ka Halwa (Sweet Pudding With Peas) – Vegetable Dessert
Green Peas – 1 cup
Full Fat Milk – 1 cup
Fresh cream – 1/4 cup
Sugar – 1/4 cup
Fennel seeds – 1/2 tsp
Cardamom powder – 1/2 tsp
Ghee – 2 tbsp
Chopped pistachios – 4
A pinch of salt
- Heat ghee in a nonstick pan and add roughly chopped peas. Saute for 10 minutes in a low flame. Then add fennel seeds, milk, and fresh cream.
- Cook for 10 minutes in low flame until the milk evaporates completely. Add sugar and simmer until it thickens.
- It takes about 5-8 minutes. Then add chopped pistachios and cardamom powder, a pinch of salt with 1 tsp of ghee and mix well.
- Serve delicious Pea Halwa is ready.
Add sugar according to your taste.
