Cinnamon Honey Tea – Detox Beverage

Honey and Cinnamon are two natural ingredients with multiple health benefits.

When it comes to choosing a sweetener, as a source of vitamins and minerals, honey is a good option, especially when compared to regular sugar. Honey helps boost and speed up the metabolism which helps the body to burn fat.


Cinnamon is a spice that comes from the bark of Cinnamomum Tree. Cinnamon stabilizes blood sugar levels and increases the metabolism. Spicy and sweet, cinnamon offers a number of benefits to your health, including anti-inflammatory properties and improved blood sugar and heart health.


Cinnamon Honey Tea is one my favorite beverages. A cup of golden red Cinnamon tea makes for a refreshing and healthy drink without any caffeine.


Honey – 1 tsp

Cinnamon powder – 1/2 tsp

Water – 1& 1/2 cup


  1. Combine cinnamon powder, water in a saucepan and boil the mixture on medium low flame for 5-8 minutes.
  2. After 8 minutes switch off the gas and allow tea to cool down for 5 minutes.
  3. Pour 1 tsp of honey in a cup and pour cinnamon boiled water. Mix well.
  4. Enjoy warm Cinnamon Honey Tea.
