How to Peel Ginger with a Spoon?

Ginger can be tricky to peel with all its bumps and irregularities. Rather than using a paring knife or vegetable peeler, reach for the spoon. Scrape it against the skin and it’ll come right off, following every contour and minimizing waste.

How to Peel Ginger with a Spoon?

You will need:
Ginger
Chopping Board
A Spoon

Hold a ginger in one hand and a spoon in the other hand. Scrape the tip of the spoon against the ginger to peel off the skin.

Scraping ginger with the edge of a spoon can provide enough pressure to pull the skin easily.

Wash ginger and pet dry with paper towel. Chopped them as required. Store in a ziplock bag and store in a refrigerator.
