Besan Paratha with Leftover Chappati
Leftover Chappati – 2
For Batter :
Gram flour or Besan – 4 tbsp
Water – 2 tbsp
Curd – 1 tbsp ( optional )
Finely chopped onion – 1 ( small )
Finely chopped capsicum – 1 ( small )
Finely chopped green chilly and coriander leaves – as required
Turmeric – 1/4 tsp
Coriander powder – 1/2 tsp
Chaat masala – 1/4 tsp
Salt to taste
- Mix all the ingredients for the batter. Mix till smooth and lump free. Add a little more water if required.
- The batter should be as thick as dosa batter.
- Heat a pan with little oil. Apply 2 tbsp of the besan batter on one side of the roti and turn it over.
- Cook for about 2 minutes. Add few drops of oil on the other side of the roti. Turn it over and cook it for 1 minute.
Besan Paratha is ready. Slice it and serve with sauce or curd.
