Beetroot Tikki – Healthy Snack

Beetroot Tikki

Beetroots are rich in nutrients that help to boost your immune system and can produce new blood cells. Beetroot tikki is a perfect evening time snack. It is made with beetroot, potato, and lots of spices.



Boiled, Grated Beetroot – 1
Boiled Mashed Potato – 1
Bread* – 1
Chopped Onion – 1
Chopped green chilies& crushed – 2 tbsp
Roasted cumin powder – 1 tsp
Amchur powder – 1 tsp
Chopped coriander leaves – 2 tbsp
Roasted & crushed peanuts – 2 tbsp
Sooji – 1/4 cup
Salt to taste
Oil for shallow frying

Method :
Mix all above ingredients and make a soft dough. Refrigerate dough ( covered ) for half an hour.
Divide the mixture into small portions and make tikki.

Yummy Delicious Tikki

Heat an oil in a pan and shallow fry them. Sprinkle chaat masala over it.

Serve them with curd and green mango coriander chutney or amchur gur chutney.


*Soak the slice of bread in water. Squeeze out the water from the bread completely. Mash the bread. Add this mashed bread pulp to the tikki dough.
