Raw Banana Cutlets

Raw Banana is rich is potassium and vitamins. Raw Banana has high fiber content, which makes it a great ingredient for losing weight and helps you keep fuller for a longer time. Raw banana cutlet is made of raw banana, onions and roasted peanuts give perfect crunch in the cutlets.

Raw Banana Cutlets

Ingredients :
Raw bananas ( boiled and mashed ) – 2
Finely chopped onion – 1
Finely chopped green chilies – 1
Finely chopped coriander – 3 tbsp
Roasted cumin – 1/2 tsp
Amchur powder – 1/2 tsp
Roasted and crushed peanuts – 3 tbsp
Salt to taste
Oil for shallow frying

Method :

  1. Mix all above ingredients and make a soft dough ( except oil ). Keep aside for 10 minutes.
  2. Apply little water on your hands. Take some lemon size portion and make cutlets.
  3. Heat little oil in pan and place cutlets in a pan. Fry till both sides are golden brown and crisp.
  4. Serve hot with chutney.

Healthy Cutlets

Tip :
Take a green raw banana ( 2 nos )and prick it with a fork. Place banana in a microwave bowl and add a little water. Cover the bowl and microwave for 8 mins or you can also boil raw bananas in a pressure cooker.
