Makhana Namkeen – Healthy Snack

Makhana is rich in calcium, protein, carbohydrates, phosphorous, iron, thiamine and zinc. It can be a great nutritious snack.

Roasted Makhana – Tea Time Snack

Ingredients :

Makhana – 1 & 1/2cups
Ghee – 2 tsp

Red Chilli powder – 1/2 tsp
Pepper powder – 1/2 tsp
Chat Masala powder -1 tsp
Salt – to taste

Method :

Add 2 tsp of ghee in a non-stick pan and add the makhana. Roast it till golden and crispy.


Roasting Makhana

Switch off the flame. Add all spices and toss it well.
Cool down completely then store in airtight container.


Roasted Namkeen

Enjoy with tea.
