Soya  Nuggets Beans Sabzi

This unique sabzi made with beans and soya nuggets. It is perfect for lunch or dinner recipe.


Chopped Beans

Green Beans – 250 grams
Soya Nuggets – 1/2 cup
Finely chopped onion -1 (large)
Finely chopped tomato – 2 (medium)
Finely chopped garlic – 3
Finely chopped ginger – 1 inch
Cumin – 1/2 tsp
Red chili powder – 1 tsp
Coriander powder – 1/2 tsp
Sabzi Masala – 1 tsp
Mustard Oil – 2 tbsp
Salt to taste
Garam masala – 1/2 tsp
Fresh coriander leaves for garnishing


Boil 1/2 cup of water and soak soya nuggets for 15 minutes. After 15 minutes sieve through a strainer and squeeze extra water from granules and keep it aside.


Soaked Soya Nuggets

Microwave chopped beans in a glass bowl (microwave safe) for 10 minutes with 1/2 cup of water.

Heat Oil in a pan on medium heat and add cumin. Allow them to sizzle. Add chopped onions and fry till golden color. Now add the ginger, garlic and fry till the raw flavor is gone.
Add boiled beans, soaked soya granules and cook for 3-4 mins.


Sabzi In Making

Add coriander powder, sabzi masala, green chili, garam masala, salt and mix well. Add a little water and cook it covered till oil separates.
Add chopped tomatoes and cook for 5mins ( covered ). Mix it well.


Adding Tomatoes

Garnish with chopped coriander leaves, lemon juice and serve hot with parathas.
