How to deseed a pomegranate in one minute?

Pomegranate is a great source of vitamins, especially vitamin A, C, E  as well as folic acid. It also has antioxidant and punicic acid, an omega 5 polyunsaturated fatty acid which is highly beneficial for cell regeneration and proliferation. Today I am sharing a tip – How to deseed a pomegranate quickly without staining your fingers or making a big mess.

How to deseed Pomegranate?

You will need:

Bowl ( big enough to hold all of the pomegranate seeds )
Wooden spatula
Knife

Fill a medium bowl with water. Slice the top of the pomegranate with a sharp knife.

Just cut enough to get through the skin.

Now break it open with your thumbs into sections.

Hold open pomegranate and seeds facing down and tap the skin with a wooden spoon in a water filled bowl.

The pith will float and the seeds will sink.

Remove the pith and discard, then drain the seeds.
