Vegetable Curd Rice – My Son’s Favorite

Vegetable Curd Rice is tempered with mustard seeds, vegetables. It’s a great summer food, easy and healthy too. It’s my son’s favorite meal.


Ingredients for curd rice

Ingredients :
Cooked Rice – 1/2 cup
Thick Curd – 3/4 cup
Milk – 1/4 cup
Finely chopped green chilli – 1
Oil – 1 tsp
Mustard seeds – 1/2 tsp
Grated garlic – 1 tbsp
Salt as taste

Chopped Vegetables:
(Tier color capsicum, carrot )

Pomegranate Pearls for garnishing


Yummy Curd Rice

Method :

  1. Mash cooked rice with a potato masher. Add milk and mix it well. Now add curd and salt. Keep aside.
  2. Heat a tsp of oil, add mustard seeds, when it splutters, add ginger, green chilies and sauté for a few seconds.
  3. Add chopped vegetables and saute for 5 minutes. Add saute vegetable into curd rice and mix everything well.

Easy and Quick

Garnish with Pomegranate seeds. Yummy curd rice is ready.
