Boondi is made from chickpea flour. It is generally used in making raita. Boondi Cutlet is a unique snack, it’s very easy and quick recipe.
Boondi Cutlets – Easy Quick Tasty
Boondi – 1 cup
Paneer crumbled – 1/2 cup
Finely chopped onion – 1 Big
Finely chopped green chili – 2
Finely chopped coriander leaves – 1/4 cup
Tumeric – 1/2 tsp
Dhaniya powder – 1 tsp
Amchur – 1/2 tsp or lemon juice – 1 tbsp
Crushed roasted peanuts – 2 tbsp
Salt to taste
Oil for shallow frying
- Soak boondi in one cup of water and keep aside for 5 minutes. Now squeezed boondi well.
- Add all above ingredients except oil. Mix well & make a soft dough.
For making cutlets:
Divide the mixture into small portions and make cutlets.
Heat little oil in pan and place cutlets in a pan. Fry till both sides are golden brown and crisp.
Serve hot with chutney.
* Initially cutlets will be very soft so flip cutlets carefully.
