Homemade Peanut Butter – Protein Spread

A warm toast with homemade peanut butter. A perfect way to start a day. Peanut butter is a great source of protein, potassium and healthy fats. This homemade peanut butter is delicious and it is super easy. It takes a few minutes to transform whole peanuts into warm and creamy, delicious homemade peanut butter.

Homemade Peanut Butter

Ingredients :
Roasted Whole Peanuts ( without skin ) – 1 cup
Brown sugar or gur – 1 tbsp
Salt – 1/4 tsp
Olive Oil – 1 tsp


  1. Take peanuts in a blender, powder them into a powder ( reserve 2 tbsp peanut powder for making crunchy peanut butter ).
  2. Continue blending till it becomes smooth and creamy. Now add brown sugar or jaggery, salt, oil and blend until smooth.
  3. Creamy Smooth Homemade Peanut Butter is Ready.

For Crunchy Peanut Butter:
Add reserved 2 tbsp of crushed peanuts in plain peanut butter and mix well.

Tips :
Allow to cool down completely and transfer to a clean, dry glass container.
It will last for 2 weeks if stored in the refrigerator.

Keep butter in the refrigerator after every use. Use a clean and dry spoon.

Skip the Salt, Sugar and the Oil if you have any diet restrictions.
